Energy Star Home Energy Yardstick shows how your home compares to others like it across the country and the Energy Advisor provides recommendations to improve your home's energy efficiency.
Find a home energy audit professional. The Department of Energy's Energy Star website contains a list of partners that will perform energy audits on your home. Look for the "Energy Rater" section on the Energy Star website.
See if you qualify for the Low Income Usage Reduction Program (Weatherization). This program provides free energy conservation measures to high usage, low income households to help make energy bills more affordable. Call (800) UGI-WARM for additional information.
